How to Plan a Great Day in Bedminster: Where Food Fits In
Where a good meal fits into a day spent around town.
The Bedminster Tavern
Bedminster and the surrounding Somerset Hills (Far Hills, Bernardsville, Peapack-Gladstone) have a quiet, unhurried character shaped by their farms, historic communities, and equestrian traditions. A good day around here doesn't need to be complicated. It just needs the right stops.
Food tends to be the anchor. A morning start with coffee, an afternoon errand or two on Main Street, and an evening that slows back down over dinner. The Bedminster Tavern is built to fit that kind of day naturally: a place to land after the errands are done, whether that's a full dinner in the Dining Room, a drink at the Main Bar, or a quieter evening at The Stables.
If the day includes a group, the Tavern can also be the destination itself: Sunday Brunch with family, a celebration at The Stables, or simply a table reserved in advance so the rest of the day doesn't have to be planned around finding one.
Wherever the day starts, it's good to know there's a table waiting at the end of it.
